The international break is over! Back to domestic action this weekend, and we’re treated to some great games. There are not many better ways to kick off the weekend than the Merseyside derby. Arsenal are also in action against Man City and there are some crucial games at each end of the table. See the full fixture list below;
Liverpool vs Everton (12.30pm, Sky Sports)
Burnley vs Tottenham
Chelsea vs Crystal Palace
Hull vs West Ham
Leicester vs Stoke City
Man Utd vs West Brom
Watford vs Sunerland
Southampton vs Bournemouth (5.30pm, BT Sports)
Swansea vs Middlesbrough (1.30pm, Sky Sports)
Arsenal vs Man City (4.00pm, Sky Sports)
Each game is swiftly becoming a must win for all teams. Chelsea are the only team with a bit of breathing space at the top of the table. Man City and Tottenham can not afford to drop any points if they are going to keep the pressure on Chelsea. Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are all in a close race for fourth place.
Liverpool Currently occupy fourth place but Manchester United are hot on their heels. They have a four point gap as things stand – but Man Utd have two games in hand to their bitter rivals. If Liverpool fail to pick up three points against their Merseyside neighbour on Saturday afternoon then the door will be well and truly open for Mourinho’s men to push themselves into the Champions League places.
After spending the majority of their season in sixth place, United will be keen to not let any chances to close the gap pass them by again. After losing to West Brom, Arsenal can not afford to give any more ground to their opponents. They will be pushed to pick up all three points on Sunday against Man City – but it is a must win game, especially with Wenger and Sanchez’s future a hotly debated topic right now.
