July is here and and there is plenty of sporting action to fill the month ahead of the new football season starting in August. Wimbledon gets underway on Monday 3 July, alongside plenty of rugby, cricket and the Tour de France.
Britain’s Andy Murray will open Centre Court play on Monday as he attempts to win his third Wimbledon title. The 2016 champion will face Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik in the first round at 13:00.
Murray is fourth favourite in the betting to win Wimbledon outright, priced at 6/1. Novak Djokovic is ahead of the Scotsman in the market at third favourite priced at 5/1 and Rafael Nedal can be backed at 9/2. Roger Federer leads the market priced at 2/1 to lift the trophy.
